Nov 8 – drains going in

Proper drainage installation approved by Neil (Building Control) today.

Until Tuesday this week it’s been slow progress with us trying to work out the best drainage routes (thanks to Martin Degnen for the best solution) and eventually realising we need people who know what they are doing to get everything done properly before we pour the slab. Team Duraform (Sam, Christian, Harry and Tony) to the rescue.

Meanwhile Tracy and I got started on the land drain…

With all the sub slab pipework in place… the hardcore, in and compacted with sand blinding on top… to support the slab mesh… …we’re all set for the first slab pour on Friday. Thanks again to Christian and Shaun (team Duraform) for their help.
