First we had to get the dpm in and seal around openings with bitumen as well as dpm. Then the vacuum pipework before the insulation…






Then the insulation – and foil tape all the joints…







Then the edge foam, insulation and protective membrane before the underfloor heating pipework:








Then the reinforcement mesh




And finally, the door thresholds and the expansion joint between the two pours before the concrete work starts.

Granny flat concrete in, hallway and lobby next.
And then we started on the stud walls in our bedroom…



And we installed the temporary heat source for the underfloor heating. Thanks to Adam Cornish at Earth-Inspired for all his advice and help!
