The Queen arrived on the 22nd and has settled in nicely…

In the same week, after helping move Marj in on Monday, Mike and Neville started on the bungalow demolition – removing the rooftiles.

Balcony waterproofing completed and tested by Sentinel. Now ready for paving although that will probably be in the new year when the new hips are operational…

Meanwhile we got the workshop painted and shelved to store what we could from the old bungalow. Now to get it all organised!

Plus all the wi-fi access points installed up and downstairs so Marj has tinterweb and the security system is up and running – plus Boris +Dotty permanently patrolling the boundary in case a visitor comes with treats.

Slowing down now as the 2025 funds run dry. A couple of weeks with Neville helping demolish Old Culvercroft before starting on the hip reconstruction. Back to start on the cladding in the late spring. Some more bungalow demolition pickies:
