Our first major project for 2018

First we need to build a home for the pool. The best place was at the back of the bungalow. Over Wilfred’s lovely veg plot. Sorry Wilfred (RIP).

Uncle Bob (Mr. Happy) joins us to build the temporary timber frame home for the pool and extra storage for all the rubbish we have collected over the years.

Thanks to Mr. Happy we were weather proof by November. But left to our own devices, building the pool in December, MJ didn’t count on the screws holding down the pool panel snapping under the pressure of the water. Long night draining and drying out the pool to realign the frame, reline the pool and fill again!

But at least Tracy had her first swim before Christmas!
