Eventually, after even more rain, alterations to the roof joists, a change in roofing contractor, trying to get edf to be competent and finally sorting out our water supply, we managed to get some of the joists up ‘properly’. Unfortunately it’s been too wet to leave any of the wbp hardwood ply on top so we have decided to waterproof it first so it can withstand whatever the summer (starts tomorrow) throws at us before the roofers finish the job in July. Hopefully!

So June will be all about getting the roof platform and parapets ready.

May 7 – 2pm – wall pour done – another successful day thanks to team Duraform (and our excessive bracing!)
