June 7 update: Still getting the joists laid out correctly! Hopefully getting ready to do the gutter next week!
June 8 update: We have fnally got all the joists in. Now we start on the levelling, getting the ply on top and aligning the joists so they are square to the ply…
June 20: All the waterproofed waterproof ply now up with the 5 rooflight upstand frames built:
Channels dug for electricity cable and the sewage pipe now in up to where the manhole will go:
June 21: Waterproofed waterproof ply now protected from tonight’s rain. Roofers due on the 1st July. Parapet caps next.
And now the electricity cable has been laid…
June 25: National Grid back and the scaffold started for the roofers (scaffold pictures to follow). Tomorrow NG fit the new pole and transformer.
Tool of the year! A digital spirit level that you can set the required slope with and it beeps you when you are at the correct angle (not the right angle!). It’s a beautiful thing!
